My iPhone Food Photos

In my last post I mentioned how I like to take pictures of food so I figured I'd post some of those here. What's the point in having them if I don't share them? Oh, and I like to take pictures of people eating too. Like mid bite, mouth open. But that is for another day :)

 

Stuffed Peppers. These were a BIG hit with the husband, and me! We don't eat beef in our house, unless someone happens to bring it, so the stuffing is Morningstar veggie crumbles mixed with spices and chopped up vegetables. Served with spaghetti. 

Shrimp and Tofu Lo Mein. This meal was full of firsts for me. It was the first time I'd used my Wok that I got for Christmas, first time making Lo Mein and the first time sauteeing noodles, which was just awesome and I will definitely doing it again in the future!

Stuffed Potatoes. Parker and I made these together. When I picked her up one night from Boys & Girls Club she was in Cooking Club and they were making stuffed peppers. Well she didn't get to finish and I felt bad so we made them at home! This insides are peppers, green onions, bacon and cheese. They were pretty dang good!

Ahi Tuna Steaks, Edamame and Homemade Pho. This was Valentine's dinner that Brad and I made together. We absolutely LOVE Ahi Tuna and we LOVE making homemade Pho so it seemed as good a choice as any for our LOVE day dinner :) 

Liz Soup. I call this Liz Soup because I learned how to make it from my brother's girlfriend, Liz, who learned it from her Grandma (I can't remember if it's the Cuban or the Italian one though...) This soup is just amazing! You start with a whole chicken and boil it with peppers and tomatoes and garlic. Then you take the chicken out and set it aside while you food process the broth with the veggies then put it back in the pot. Pull all the meat off the chicken and put it back in the pot with a box of noodles (or some potatoes). The most amazing flavor ever!!!
